March 2006

March 31, 2006 7:30pm - Volunteer & Student Orientation

Infinite Possibilities of New York and Mt. Olivet Baptist church is excited
to launch our Youth Outreach Programs.

IPNY College Preparatory/Leaders of Tomorrow Program and IPNY/ Mt. Olivet
CREATE Program.

We are in search of caring individuals to become Mentors to our young
adults.

IPNY College Preparatory/Leaders of Tomorrow is a mentoring program to
assist 14-21 year olds in career exploration through mentor tutoring and
college discovery. Along with homework assistance, college tours and many
field trips these young adults’ project for the year is to develop their
own organization that will benefit the community. They will learn how to
put together a proposal, budget and will present it to a panel from Youth
Venture to receive grant funding for their project. IPNY Leader’s of
Tomorrow Program is a fun way for teens to get involved in their community,
meet new friends and gain valuable experience that colleges look for.

We are looking for College Students and Professionals to help tutor our
young adults as well as, share their own experience of college and how they
are achieving their dreams.

IPNY/Mt. Olivet Baptist CREATE Program is a Faith-Based Mentoring Art
Program for 6-13 year olds. CREATE stands for Creative Religious Education
for Artistic Teen Expression. With the assistance of a volunteer Art
Instructor the participants will paint art work ranging from biblical
verses to community issues. Their goal at the end of the program is to put
the work on display for viewing in efforts to teach the community through
their work.

**Summer Internship for Juniors & Seniors**
Do you attend a school that specializes in the arts? Do you have experience
in painting, sculpting and/or photography? Well this is the place for you.
Register for this orientaton by calling Natalie Sandy at 718 736 4946

We are looking for caring individuals who have a love for children and
willing to get a little messy. CREATE is a faith-based program. An
appreciation for religious studies is a must.
